The Perfect Date

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner but we’re not talking about a romantic type of date… we’re talking about the delicious and super healthy fruit! 

At Smile Natural Foods we use dates in all 4 of our all-in-one organic Wholefood Blends. Dates are a natural sweetener and eliminate the need to add any processed or refined sugar. 

Wholefood Blend 4 Units

Full of nutrients, dates are especially high in: fiber, iron, potassium, copper, manganese, magnesium, and vitamin B6. This helps to improve the digestive system, reduce cholesterol, boost energy and even provide anti-inflammatory properties.

Strawberry Smoothie 7

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup milk or milk substitute (almond, coconut, soy, cashew etc.)
  • 1 banana
  • Dash of cinnamon for some added Valentine spice
  • 1 tablespoon Wholefood Blend + Coconut

Directions:

Blend all of the ingredients together and add extra Wholefood Blend + Coconut on top for some texture.
